Biul adalah enam spesies dari genus Melogale, yang merupakan satu-satunya genus dari subfamili mustelid monotipe Helictidinae . [1] [2] [3] [4]

Dampak pada manusia[sunting | sunting sumber]

Dampak biul terhadap manusia adalah melalui penyebaran rabies. Hal ini telah didokumentasikan di Taiwan dan Tiongkok, namun kurangnya dokumentasi dan penelitian sebelumnya mengenai Biul telah membuktikan adanya hambatan.[6] [7] [8]
