Heksadekana (juga disebut cetana) adalah senyawa hidrokarbon jenis alkana dengan rumus molekul C16H34.

Kata cetan biasanya dipakai untuk menyebut bilangan cetana, ukuran yang dipakai untuk mengukur ketukan pada bahan bakar diesel.

Cetana mempunyai bilangan oktan yang sangat rendah, di bawah 30.[5]
