Republik Karelia (bahasa Rusia: Респу́блика Каре́лия, Respublika Kareliya; Templat:Lang-krl; bahasa Finlandia: Karjalan tasavalta; Templat:Lang-vep) merupakan sebuah Subyek Federal Rusia. Republik ini memiliki luas wilayah 172.400 km². Penduduknya berjumlah 716.281 jiwa (2002). Ibu kotanya ialah Petrozavodsk. Dengan kepadatn penduduk 4,2 km².
