Ball telah menemukan penggemar yang mengikuti melalui bandnya Hey Ocean! dan melalui bronies, penggemar dewasa dari acara televisi My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, sebuah pertunjukan di mana dia menyuarakan dan bernyanyi sebagai dua dari enam karakter utama, Applejack dan Rainbow Dash.[8] Ball telah menghadiri beberapa konvensi penggemar My Little Pony, termasuk BronyCon dan Everfree Northwest sebagai tamu kehormatan. Ball menyatakan dalam film dokumenternya A Brony Tale, di mana dia adalah subjek utama, "It's (My Little Pony) a really important part of a lot of these people's lives. So yeah, as long as My Little Ponies exists, there will be bronchi."

Pada 2 Mei 2017, ia merilis video musik "Crazy" dan pada 2 Juni, merilis EP solo debutnya Gold in You.[9][10]
