Yupiter untuk saat ini diketahui memiliki 67 satelit.[1] Dengan empat satelit yang terbesar yakni Io, Europa, Ganymede, dan Callisto. Empat satelit ini dikenal juga dengan satelit Galilea karena ditemukan oleh astronom Galileo Galilei pada tahun 1610. Beberapa bulan lainnya baru bisa ditemukan dalam rentang tahun 1892 sampai dengan tahun 2011.
