Skyler Augustus Gisondo (lahir 22 Juli 1996)[1] merupakan aktor asal Amerika Serikat. Ia dikenal karena perannya dalam film Licorice Pizza, Booksmart dan Vacation, serta program televisi Psych, The Righteous Gemstones dan Santa Clarita Diet.
Kehidupan awal
[sunting | sunting sumber]Gisondo lahir pada 22 Juli 1996, di Palm Beach County, Florida. Orang tuanya, Stacey (née Berke) dan Ron, adalah insinyur kelautan. Nama belakangnya berasal dari kakek dari pihak ayah, yang merupakan orang Italia-Amerika. Tiga kakek-neneknya yang lain adalah orang Yahudi.[2] Setelah ia mulai bekerja secara rutin, ia bersekolah di rumah selama beberapa tahun.[3] Ia menghabiskan beberapa tahun di sekolah menengah atas yang sangat terlibat dalam komunitas Yahudi, termasuk berpartisipasi dalam USY, dan menghadiri Camp Alonim di Simi Valley. Gisondo juga menghadiri USY Israel Pilgrimage. Ia bersekolah di SMA Milken Community di Los Angeles, lulus pada tahun 2014.[4][5]
Gisondo tumbuh di Florida, dan kemudian pindah ke South Bay, Los Angeles.[4]
Pada tahun 2015, ia mulai sekolah film di Universitas California Selatan, awalnya penuh waktu dan kemudian paruh waktu sebelum mengambil jeda untuk syuting Santa Clarita Diet. Ia telah menyatakan bahwa ia berencana untuk menyelesaikan pendidikan kuliahnya.[3]
Kehidupan Pribadi

Saat syuting Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb di Vancouver, Gisondo meminta Ben Stiller dan Robin Williams untuk membantunya merekam "promposal" yang secara resmi mengajak pacarnya ke pesta prom. Mereka merekam komedi tiga menit bersama Crystal si Monyet.[4][6]
