Kalau laksa di Malaysia, pakai bahan utama:
- kecombrang dan
- "daun laksa," yaitu daun kesum (lihat ms:Pokok Daun Kesum atau en:Vietnamese coriander).

- Daun laksa tidak dikenal di Indonesia. Tetapi setahu saya, laksa bogor dan betawi tidak menggunakan kedua bahan itu, namun malah memakai oncom. Kembangraps (bicara) 20:06, 23 Oktober 2009 (UTC)
