Holokaus dan Nakba
Holokaus dan Nakba dianggap sebagai peristiwa yang saling terkait dalam diskusi tentang konflik Israel-Palestina. Baik secara historis maupun dalam cara kedua tragedi ini memengaruhi persepsi kedua belah pihak tentang konflik tersebut.[1] Di Israel, semua orang Yahudi Israel dianggap sebagai penyintas Holokaus yang harus melaksanakan keharusan untuk tidak pernah lagi menjadi korban Yahudi.[2] Keunikan Holokaus ditekankan dan setiap hubungan antara Holokaus dan Nakba ditolak.[3][4] Buku The Holocaust and the Nakba yang terbit pada tahun 2018 berpendapat bahwa "kecuali kita dapat menyimpan kedua momen ini di hati dan pikiran kita sebagai bagian dari cerita yang sama, tidak akan ada kemajuan dalam konflik yang tampaknya tidak dapat digoyahkan yaitu Israel-Palestina".[4]
