Mario Vargas Llosa (lahir di Arequipa, Peru, 28 Maret 1936; umur 77 tahun) adalah seorang novelis, penulis dan juga politikus dari Peru yang mendapat hadiah Nobel untuk bidang sastra tahun 2010 untuk karyanya mengenai kartografi dari struktur kekuasaan dalam melawan tekanan, perlawanan, pemberontakan, serta kekalahan individu.
