James Thomas Patrick "J. T." Walsh (28 September 1943 – 27 Februari 1998) adalah seorang aktor karakter Amerika Serikat. Dia bermain di banyak film, terutama Tin Men (1987), Good Morning, Vietnam (1987), A Few Good Men (1992), Hoffa (1992), Nixon (1995), Sling Blade (1996), Breakdown (1997) dan Pleasantville (1998).

Walsh lahir di San Francisco, California dari pasangan Mary Louise (née O'Connor) dan James Patrick Walsh, yang keduanya keturunan Irlandia. Ayahnya adalah seorang pengawas keuangan sipil di Angkatan Darat AS. Ia memiliki tiga saudara kandung: Christopher, Patricia, dan Mary.
