Terjemahan yang tepat

Kira-kira istilah Low Countries atau Lage Landen atau Pays Bas enaknya diterjemahkan jadi apa ya? Secara harfiah sih memang "negeri-negeri rendah", tapi kok rasanya kurang sreg ya? Bagaimana pendapat mas @Pengguna:Meursault2004 @Pengguna:IvanLanin?  Mimihitam  25 Februari 2016 17.42 (UTC)

Menurut saya Negara-Negara Dataran Rendah sudah cukup baik. Terjemahan alternatif dari kata neder dalam bahasa Belanda adalah 'hilir', yaitu tempat aliran sungai yang sudah mendekat ke muara. Sebagai contoh bisa diambil terjemahan dari frasa Low Germanic languanges, Nederduitse talen (nl) atau Niederdeutsche Sprachen (de) yang diterjemahkan sebagai 'bahasa Jerman Hilir'.
