Liga Super Pakistan 2024 (Inggris: 2024 Pakistan Super League), dikenal juga sebagai PSL 9—dan juga sebagai HBL PSL 2024 untuk alasan sponsor, merupakan gelaran ke-9 dari Liga Super Pakistan. Liga ini dijadwalkan berlangsung dari 13 Februari 2024 hingga 18 Maret 2024. Draf para pemain berlangsung pada 13 Desember 2023 di Lahore.[1]

Dewan Kriket Pakistan berencana untuk memindahkan turnamen tersebut ke UEA karena pemilihan umum Pakistan 2024, namun pemilik waralaba menentang hal ini..[2] There were also plans to introduce two more teams into the league, however, the franchise owners rejected this proposal.[3]

The squads were finalized with the draft in Lahore on 13 December 2023, six days after the franchises announced their retained players.[4][5] A supplementary and replacement draft took place on 29 January 2024.[6][7]

Kedatangan[sunting | sunting sumber]

PCB mengumumkan tempat dan jadwal pertandingan pada 12 Januari 2024.[16][17] The tournament will take place across the four cities of Karachi, Lahore, Multan and Rawalpindi.[18][19] There were proposals for the Arbab Niaz Stadium in Peshawar hosting matches but these did not succeed due to security issues.[20]

Pada 12 Februari 2024, PCB mengumumkan daftar ofisial untuk pertandingan penyisihan liga yang mencakup 4 anggota Elite Panel of ICC Umpires.[29]

Varian logo musim ini terungkap pada 8 Desember 2023 dengan nomenklatur HBL PSL 9,[a] or hashtag #HBLPSL9,[30] because HBL Pakistan has been its titular sponsor since the league's first season.[31] The title anthem "Khul Ke Khel" features Ali Zafar and Aima Baig.[32]

Since previous rights concluded after a two-year run, a public merit-based tender for the broadcast and streaming rights was opened on 9 January 2024 for the next two years.[33][34]

Trofi musim ini, bernama Orion, diresmikan pada 13 Februari 2024 di Polo Ground, Taman Jilani, Lahore. Itu dibuat oleh Mahfooz Jewellers yang berbasis di Lahore.[35][36]
