Yoruba (nama asli èdè Yorùbá) adalah bahasa di Afrika Barat dengan lebih dari 25 juta penutur.[1] Bahasa ini dituturkan di Nigeria, Benin, dan Togo dan jejaknya dapat ditemui di Brasil,[2] Sierra Leone, Ghana Utara dan Kuba.[3] Yoruba adalah bahasa asli Afrika yang paling banyak dituturkan ketiga.

Bahasa ini memiliki nada seperti bahasa Tionghoa.
