Vernor Steffen Vinge (/ˈvɜːrnər ˈvɪndʒiː/ ( simak); lahir 2 Oktober 1944) adalah seorang pensiunan profesor dan pengarang fiksi ilmiah asal Amerika. Ia mengajar matematika dan ilmu komputer di San Diego State University. Ia adalah originator konsep singularitas teknologi sebagai frase yang sekarang dipakai dan mungkin permulaan dalam penghadiran "cyberspace" fiksi.
