The Misconceptions of Us adalah album kompilasi pertama dan versi kemas ulang dari album studio ketiga dari boy band asal Korea Selatan SHINee, yang dibagi menjadi dua bagian, yang pertama Dream Girl – The Misconceptions of You dan yang kedua Why So Serious? – The Misconceptions of Me. Album ini dirilis pada tanggal 8 Agustus 2013 dibawah segel dari label SM Entertainment dan didistribusikan oleh KT Music.[5][6][7] Sebagai tambahan dari lagu-lagu dari Dream Girl – The Misconceptions of You dan Why So Serious? – The Misconceptions of Me, album ini juga berisikan dua lagu baru "Selene 6.23" dan "Better Off", dengan total 20 lagu. "Selene 6.23" dipilih sebagai singel utama dari album ini.[8]
