Pauh, Anthracothorax, adalah genus burung kolibri yang tidak bermigrasi di subfamili Trochilinae yang berasal dari Neotropik .

Genus Anthracothorax diperkenalkan oleh ahli zoologi Jerman Friedrich Boie pada tahun 1831. ^[1] Jenis spesies tersebut kemudian ditetapkan sebagai pauh leher-hijau ( Anthracothorax viridigula ). ^[2] Nama generiknya menggabungkan bahasa Yunani Kuno anthrax yang berarti "batubara" (yaitu hitam) dengan thōrax yang berarti "dada". ^[3]

Sebuah studi filogenetik molekuler yang diterbitkan pada tahun 2014 menemukan bahwa Anthracothorax bersifat parafiletik terhadap Eulampis . ^[4] ^[5]
