Momotus adalah sebuah genus unggas yang ditemukan di hutan Neotropis. Genus Momotus diperkenalkan oleh zoologis Prancis Mathurin Jacques Brisson pada 1760 dengan Momotus momota sebagai spesies tipe.[1][2]
