Messier 108 (juga dikenal sebagai NGC 3556) adalah galaksi spiral berpalang yang terletak di konstelasi Ursa Major. Objek ini ditemukan oleh Pierre Méchain pada tahun 1781 atau 1782.[5] Dari perspektif Bumi, galaksi ini terlihat hampir di ujung.
Galaksi ini adalah anggota yang terpisah dari gugus galaksi Ursa Major di supergugus Virgo. Galaksi ini memiliki klasifikasi morfologi tipe SBbc dalam sistem de Vaucouleurs, yang berarti galaksi ini merupakan galaksi spiral berpalang dengan lengan yang agak longgar. Maksimum ukuran sudut galasi pada pita optik adalah 11'.1 × 4'.6, dan cenderung 75° dengan garis pandang.[4]
