HMBS Lignum Vitae (P 301)

HMBS Lignum Vitae (P 301) adalah yang pertama dari empat Kapal patroli Damen Stan 3007 yang ditugaskan oleh Angkatan Pertahanan Kerajaan Bahama.^[1]^[2] Dia diperkirakan siap dikirim ke Bahama pada bulan Juni 2015 .^[3]^[4]^[5]

Lgnum Vitae, dan kapal saudaranya memiliki panjang 30 meter (98 ft) dan lebar 7 meter (23 ft), serta memiliki kecepatan maksimum 24 knot (44 km/h).^[3] Dia dan kapal saudaranya memiliki draft yang dangkal, untuk pekerjaan di darat. Dia dirancang untuk misi hingga lima hari. Dia dirancang untuk awak 13 orang.

Sementara sebagian besar kapal modern dirancang dengan busur pemotong, Damen membuat Lignum Vitae, dan kapal saudaranya, dengan "busur kapak", gaya busur baru yang dimaksudkan untuk memudahkan menjaga laut dalam cuaca buruk.^[3] Di buritannya, kapal ini dilengkapi dengan jalan peluncuran buritan, yang memungkinkannya mengerahkan dan mengambil kapal pengejar berbahan bakar jet air, tanpa terlebih dahulu berhenti.

Pada tanggal 16 Mei 2016, Lignum Vitae menangkap sebuah kapal penangkap ikan Republik Dominika yang sedang melakukan perburuan ikan di perairan teritorial Bahama.^[6] ^{[convert: nomor tidak sah]} itu diawaki 11 orang. Mereka ditahan.^[7]

Pada tanggal 30 Juli 2016, Lgnum Vitae membantu membawa 199 pengungsi Haiti yang ditemukan oleh kapal patroli Bahama lainnya, P 129, ke New Providence.^[8] Pada tanggal 30 Juli 2016, Lignum Vitae mencegat sebuah perahu kecil yang berisi delapan pengungsi Kuba di dalamnya.^[9]
