Litsea glutinosa adalah pohon hutan hujan dalam keluarga daun salam, Lauraceae . Tanaman ini lebih dikenal dengan nama adem ati . [4]
Bubuk kulit kayu, yang dikenal sebagai jigat, dapat digunakan sebagai pasta perekat dalam produksi dupa .[5]
Distribusi[sunting | sunting sumber]
Spesies ini berasal dari India, Cina Selatan hingga Malaysia, Filipina, [6] Australia, dan kepulauan Pasifik bagian barat.
Ia telah diperkenalkan ke La Réunion, Mauritius, Mayotte dan Kaledonia Baru di mana ia dianggap sebagai spesies invasif.[7]
