Trechnotheria adalah kelompok hewan menyusui termasuk theria dan beberapa hewan yang telah punah dari zaman Mesozoikum. Pada zamab Jurasik hingga zaman kapur, kelompok ini endemik di Asia dab Afrika.^[1]

Trechnotheria telah digolonglan ke beberapa peringkat, tetapi aslinya digolongkan sebagai "superlegion" oleh pencetus pertama.^[2] Salah satu referensi mengatakan bahwa Trechnotheria, sebagai klad, berisi nenek moyang terakhir Zhangheotherium dan mamalia, beserta turunannya.^[3]
