This template is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It could be used by the template {{Lang}} with language code et to include articles in Category:Articles containing bahasa Estonia-language text, if the category was created (using {{Category articles containing non-English-language text |bahasa Estonia |et}}). For example: {{Lang |et |some text in bahasa Estonia}}, which wraps the text with <span lang="et">. Also available is {{Lang-et |some text in bahasa Estonia}} which displays as bahasa Estonia: some text in bahasa Estonia.
It is used by {{et icon}}, possibly {{et}}, and {{Link language|et}} to display the language of an external link. These templates could add articles to Category:Articles with bahasa Estonia-language external links, if the category was created (using {{Non-English-language external links category |code=et |name=bahasa Estonia}}).
