Raymond Thornton Chandler (23 Juli 1888 – 26 Maret 1959) adalah seorang novelis dan penulis naskah Amerika-Inggris. Pada 1932, dalam usia empat puluh empat tahun, Chandler menjadi penulis fiksi detektif setelah kehilangan pekerjaannya sebagai eksekutif perusahaan minyak pada masa Depresi Besar.
