Pontiac Firebird adalah mobil Amerika yang dibuat dan diproduksi oleh Pontiac dari model tahun 1967 hingga 2002.[1] Dirancang sebagai mobil kuda poni untuk bersaing dengan Ford Mustang, diperkenalkan pada 23 Februari 1967, lima bulan setelah divisi GM Chevrolet divisi berbagi platform Camaro. Ini juga bertepatan dengan rilis tahun 1967 Mercury Cougar, Ford Mustang versi berbagi platform kelas atas.[2][3]
Nama "Firebird" juga sebelumnya digunakan oleh GM untuk General Motors Firebird pada tahun 1950-an dan awal 1960-an sebagai mobil konsep.[4]
