Neotrygon atau Pari masker adalah genus ikan pari dalam keluarga Dasyatidae yang berasal dari perairan Indo-Pasifik Barat. Spesies dalam genus ini awalnya ditempatkan dalam genus Dasyatis oleh sebagian besar penulis. Namun, analisis morfologi dan molekuler baru-baru ini secara meyakinkan menunjukkan bahwa mereka mewakili kelompok yang berbeda sehingga genus Neotrygon dibuat untuk mereka.[2]
Selain dari pola warna yang seperti topeng, ikan pari ini juga memiliki variasi warna dan bisa polos atau berornamen. Cakram sirip dada mereka sebagian besar halus, dengan satu baris duri di sepanjang garis tengah punggung. Mulutnya kecil dengan dua papila tengah dan sederet gigi berpuncak panjang yang membesar di tengah rahang atas di kedua sisi. Tirai hidungnya panjang dan sempit, dibentuk oleh penggabungan penutup hidung. Ekornya sangat pendek dengan lipatan sirip punggung dan perut yang berkembang dengan baik serta ujung berserabut, dan bergaris hitam putih melewati tulang belakang yang menyengat. Selain itu, spesies Neotrygon juga berbeda dari ikan pari lain dalam morfologi bukal dan kerangka,[2][3] serta dalam urutan gen CO1 dan NADH2.[4][5]
Dalam genus ini spesiesnya dapat didiagnosis berdasarkan urutan nukleotidanya pada lokus gen CO1, NADH2, dan sitokrom b.[5][6][7][8] Diagnosis alternatif telah diajukan berdasarkan morfometrik [3], tetapi terbukti tidak valid.[7][9]
