Luther Vandross
Luther Vandross head.jpg Luther Vandross (lahir dengan nama Luther Ronzoni Vandross Jr.) (New York City, 20 April 1951 – Edison, New Jersey, 1 Juli 2005) adalah penyanyi R&B Afrika-Amerika.
Sepanjang kariernya, Vandross telah menjual 25 juta album dan memenangkan delapan Penghargaan Grammy termasuk Penyanyi R&B Lelaki Terbaik sebanyak empat kali. Dia memperoleh empat Penghargaan Grammy pada tahun 2004 termasuk lagu terbaik, "Dance With My Father", yang ditulis dengan Richard Marx.
Vandross memperoleh inspirasi dari Aretha Franklin, yang lagu-lagunya kelak banyak diproduksi Vandross sendiri. Dia juga dipengaruhi dengan kuat oleh Dionne Warwick dan pionir musik soul, Sam Cooke.
Dia meninggal pada tahun 2005 tanpa pernah menikah.
