Darkness in a Different Light adalah album studio kesebelas oleh band progressive metal Fates Warning, dirilis pada tanggal 30 September 2013 (Eropa) dan 1 Oktober (Amerika Utara) melalui Inside Out Music.[1] Ini adalah album pertama band sejak FWX (2004), menandai kesenjangan terpanjang antara dua album studio dalam karier mereka, serta menjadi album studio pertama mereka dengan gitaris Frank Aresti sejak Inside Out (1994). Drummer Bobby Jarzombek juga membuat debutnya dengan Fates Warning di album ini. Ini juga rilis pertama band melalui "Inside Out Music".[8]
