Anti-imperialisme dalam ilmu politik dan hubungan internasional merupakan penolakan terhadap imperialisme atau neokolonialisme. Sentimen anti-imperialisme biasanya muncul sebagai prinsip politik dalam perjuangan kemerdekaan melawan intervensi atau pengaruh dari kekuatan superglobal, serta dalam penolakan terhadap pemerintahan kolonial. Anti-imperialisme juga dapat muncul dari teori ekonomi tertentu, seperti dalam interpretasi Leninis tentang imperialisme (teori Vladimir Lenin tentang nilai-nilai surplus yang diekspor ke negara-negara yang kurang berkembang dalam pencarian keuntungan yang lebih tinggi, yang pada akhirnya kerap kali mengarah pada imperialisme), yang berasal dari karya Lenin tahun 1917 berjudul Imperialisme, Tahap Tertinggi Kapitalisme. Orang-orang yang mengidentifikasi diri mereka sebagai anti-imperialis sering menyatakan bahwa mereka menentang kolonialisme, kerajaan kolonial, hegemoni, imperialisme, dan perluasan teritorial suatu negara melampaui batas-batas yang telah ditetapkan.[1]
