Aaaaba adalah genus kumbang dari familia Buprestidae. Kumbang ini mendiami lokasi di sepanjang pantai timur Australia. Genus ini dideskripsikan pada tahun 1864 oleh Achille Deyrolle sebagai "Alcinous", sebuah homonim junior dari genus pycnogonid. Pada tahun 2002, Charles Bellamy memberikannya nama pengganti "Aaaba", namun nama ini terbukti menjadi homonim junior lainnya, dari genus sponge. Pada tahun 2013, genus ini diberi nama pengganti lebih lanjut, menjadi Aaaaba.
