Élie Joseph Cartan, ForMemRS (bahasa Prancis: [kaʁtɑ̃]; 9 November 1869 – 6 Mei 1951) adalah seorang matematikawan Prancis berpengaruh.[1][2][3] Ia banyak dipandang sebagai salah satu matematikawan terbesar pada abad kedua puluh.[3]
