Parameter page, keywords, text, dan plainurl semuanya opsional.
Parameter |ID= adalah dua belas simbol yang ditemuakn di alamat Google Books tertentu setelah "id=" tetapi sebelum "&".
Parameter |page= dapat digunakan untuk pranala ke halaman tertentu.
Parameter |keywords= dapat digunakan untuk mencari kata kunci tertentu dalam teks; |text= mencari frasa yang dikutip.
Parameter |plainurl= memberitahu templat untuk menghasilkan URL (alamat web) saja, bukannya judul buku berpranala dan halaman. Gunakan |plainurl=yes ketika menggunakan templat ini di parameter |url= dari templat referensi. |plain-url= bekerja sebagai sebuah alias.
