Sikap proposisional

Sikap proposisional (Inggris: propositional attitude) adalah keadaan budi yang menghubungkan seseorang dengan suatu proposisi. Keadaan ini diasumsikan sebagai komponen budi yang paling sederhana dan dapat mengungkapkan makna atau isi yang mungkin benar atau salah. Sebagai salah satu jenis perilaku, perilaku proposisional memiliki implikasi bahwa seseorang dapat memiliki postur budi yang berbeda terhadap suatu proposisi, seperti kepercayaan, kehendak, atau harapan, dan maka mengimplikasikan intensionalitas.

Beberapa perilaku proposisional dapat dimaksudkan untuk merefleksikan dunia, sementara yang lain untuk memengaruhinya.
