Kincir air adalah sebuah kinci yang memakai tenaga air. Alat tersebut adalah sebuah struktur yang memakai sebuah roda air atau turbin air untuk menggerakan sebuah proses mekanikal seperti alat giling, alat putar atau alat pukul. Proses semacam itu dibutuhkan untuk produksi banyak bahan material, yang meliputi tepung, kayu, kertas, tekstil dan beberapa produk metal.
