Camael, juga disebut Khamael, Camiel, Cameel dan Camniel, adalah Malaikat agung dari kekuatan, keberanian dan perang dalam mitologi Yahudi dan mitologi Kristen dan angelologi. Kamael diyakini adalah pengucapan alternatif dari Chamuel חַמּוּאֵל (dari kata chammah חַמָּה: "panas", "kemarahan"—"kemarahan/kemurkaan Allah")[1] atau Qemuel קְמוּאֵל (dari qum קוּם: "bangkit", "berdiri"—"Allah adalah kebangkitan", "dibangkitkan oleh Allah", "orang yang melihat/berdiri di sebelah Allah").[2]
