The Kinks adalah sebuah grup musik pop dan rock Inggris yang didirikan di Muswell Hill, London Utara, oleh Ray Davies dan Dave Davies pada tahun 1964. Meskipun kurang sukses secara komersial dibandingkan kelompok-kelompok lain yang sezaman dengan mereka, ada waktunya Kinks dikutip sebagai salah satu kelompok rock yang paling penting dan berpengaruh pernah ada.^[1]
