Lucius Mestrius Plutarchus (Yunani: Μέστριος Πλούταρχος), c. 46 – 120 — umumnya disebut Plutarch — adalah sejarawan, pembuat biografi, pembuat essay Romawi dengan etnis Yunani. Plutarch lahir pada keluarga yang penting di Chaeronea, Boeotia, kota yang terletak sekitar 20 mil sebelah timur Delphi. Karyanya meliputi Parallel Lives dan Moralia.
