According to Mathew adalah sebuah film sutradaraan Chandran Rutnam. Film tersebut adalah sebuah film cerita seru, percintaan, dan film kejahatan yang berdasarkan pada kejahatan Romo Mathew Pieris, imam Anglikan dari Gereja Santo Paulus Rasul, Jalan Kynsey, Kolombo, yang didakwa melakukan pembunuhan berganda terhadap istrinya (Eunice Pieris) dan Russel Ingram, suami kekasihnya pada 1979.[1][2][3]
Film tersebut dibintangi oleh Jacqueline Fernandez, seorang mantan Miss Sri Lanka Universe dan aktris Bollywood (yang membuat debut bahasa Inggrisnya dalam film tersebut) dan Alston Koch. Film tersebut disutradarai oleh pembuat film Sri Lanka Chandran Rutnam.[4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12]

Kisahnya berdasarkan pada perselingkungan dan pembunuhan yang dilakukan oleh Romo Mathew Pieris, imam Gereja Santo Paulus, yang kemudian "dihukum mati dengan cara digantung" atas dakwaan pembunuhan terhadap istrinya dan suami gundiknya.[13][14]
