Sherlock Holmes (dirilis dengan judul Moriarty di Inggris)[2] adalah film bisu Amerika Serikat produksi Goldwyn Pictures Corporation tahun 1922 bergenre drama misteri yang dibintangi oleh John Barrymore sebagai Sherlock Holmes dan Roland Young sebagai Dr. John Watson.[3]
Film ini merupakan debut bagi William Powell (tertulis sebagai William H. Powell) dan Roland Young, yang disutradarai oleh Albert Parker berdasarkan skenario yang ditulis oleh Earle Browne dan Marion Fairfax, dari naskah drama produksi tahun 1899 karya William Gillette, diangkat dari karakter Arthur Conan Doyle.[4] Film ini dianggap sebagai film yang hilang selama empat dasawarsa (kebakaran MGM Vault tahun 1967), tetapi kemudian ditemukan pada pertengahan dasawarsa 1970-an, direstorasi oleh George Eastman House.

Material film yang dipegang oleh Eastman House merupakan basis dari upaya rekonstruksi yang diproduseri oleh Kevin Brownlow dan William K. Everson (dibantuk pada tahap awal oleh sutradara Albert Parker, kemudian dikerjakan sendiri pada akhir 80-an), melalui rekonstruksi kedua (dengan menggabungkan elemen baru yang ditemukan) yang dilakukan oleh Eastman House pada tahun 2001.[6][7] Mendeskripsikan rekonstruk pertama yang ingin dilakukan pada tahun 1975, Everson memperjelas bahwa menggabungkan kembali materi yang tersedia dalam bentuk yang dapat dilihat jauh dari tugas sepele[8][9]
Rekonstruksi yang dilakukan pada tahun 2001 dirilis dalam format DVD oleh Kino International pada tahun 2009, dengan sekitar 26 menit potongan yang tetap hilang. Rilis Kino Blu-ray menyusul pada Desember 2011.[7]
