Dalam geologi struktur, suture adalah gabungan bersama zona sesar utama, dari unit medan, tektonik terpisah yang memiliki lempeng tektonik, metamorfi dan sejarah paleogeografi berbeda . Suture sering diwakili pada permukaan oleh orogeni atau pegunungan. [1]
