Panchen Lama (Bahasa Tibet: པན་ཆེན་བླ་མ ; Wylie: Pan-chen Bla-ma ; Hanyu: 班禪喇嘛/班禪額爾德尼 ; 班禅喇嘛/班禅额尔德尼 ), adalah seorang Lama peringkat ke-dua setelah Dalai Lama di dalam Agama Buddha Tibet sekte Gelugpa (Dge-lugs-pa) (sebuah sekte yang menguasai bagian barat negara Tibet mulai dari abad ke-16 hingga pembentukan kedaulatan Cina pada tahun 1951). Penerus Panchen Lama membentuk sebuah silsilah reinkarnasi tulku yang dianggap sebagai inkarnasi dari Buddha Amitabha. Kata ini sendiri berarti "pelajar agung" yang merupakan singkatan dari bahasa Sanskerta paṇḍita (yang berarti pelajar) dan chenpo (yang berarti agung - dalam bahasa Tibet).

Panchen Lama pada dasarnya tinggal di Vihara Tashilhunpo di Shigatse.
