Proyek Gemini adalah program spaceflight manusia kedua NASA, badan antariksa sipil dari pemerintah Amerika Serikat. Proyek Gemini dilakukan antara proyek Mercury dan Apollo, dengan sepuluh penerbangan berawak yang terjadi pada tahun 1965 dan 1966.
Tujuannya adalah untuk mengembangkan teknik perjalanan ruang angkasa dalam mendukung Apollo, yang memiliki tujuan untuk mendaratkan orang di Bulan. Gemini mencapai misi cukup lama untuk perjalanan ke Bulan dan kembali, aktivitas ekstra-kendaraan yang disempurnakan (bekerja di luar pesawat ruang angkasa), dan manuver orbital yang diperlukan untuk mencapai pertemuan (achieve rendezvous) dan docking. Semua penerbangan Gemini diluncurkan dari Cape Canaveral, Florida menggunakan kendaraan peluncuran Titan II Gemini ("GLV").[1]
