Erasmus Darwin (12 Desember 1731 – 18 April 1802) adalah seorang dokter Inggris yang menolak tawaran George III untuk menjadi dokter Kerajaan. Salah satu dari tokoh kunci Midlands Enlightenment, ia juga seorang ahli filsafat alam, ahli fisiologi, abolisionis, penemu dan penyair. Puisi-puisinya meliputi banyak hal tentang sejarah alam, termasuk pernyataan tentang evolusi dan hubungannya dengan segala bentuk kehidupan. Ia adalah anggota keluarga Darwin-Wedgwood, yang mana termasuk cucunya Charles Darwin dan Francis Galton. Darwin juga anggota dan pendiri Lunar Society, sebuah kelompok diskusi yang mengawali era industrialisasi dan filsuf alam.
