The text on display is in Latin, and it comes from the Gospel acording to Luke (Lc 1:5-9) in the Vulgate Bible. The text is:

de filiabus Aaron, et nomen ejus Elisabeth. Erant autem
justi ambo ante Deum, incedentes in omnibus manda
