  • Bendera Vanuatu A magnitude 7.1 earthquake struck near island of Efate, Vanuatu on February 2, at a depth of 23.1km. This was later followed by a magnitude 6.0 aftershock, at a depth of 21.7km.[13][14]
  • Bendera Vanuatu A magnitude 6.1 earthquake struck near Isangel, Vanuatu on February 5, at a depth of 163.4km.[15]
  • Bendera Vanuatu A magnitude 6.0 earthquake struck near island of Efate, Vanuatu on February 5, at a depth of 10.3km.[16]
  • Bendera Filipina A magnitude 6.7 earthquake struck near island of Negros, and Cebu, Philippines on February 6, at a depth of 20km, killing at least 105 people. [17][18]

  • Bendera Indonesia A magnitude 6.2 earthquake struck near Abepura, Indonesia, on March 20, at a depth of 67 km.[30]
  • Bendera Chili A magnitude 7.1 earthquake hit Chile, near Talca, on March 25, at a depth of 34.8 km.[33] One person died of a heart attack.[34]
  • Bendera Jepang A magnitude 6.0 earthquake hit near the east coast of Honshu Japan, on March 27, at a depth of 10 km.[36]
