Victor Prouvé

Victor Prouvé, (13 Agustus 1858 – 15 Februari 1943) adalah seorang pelukis, pematung, dan pengukir Prancis Art Nouveau École de Nancy. Dia mendesain dekorasi karya kaca dan furnitur untuk Émile Gallé. Dia bekerja dengan Eugène Vallin, Fernand Courteix, Daum Brothers dan Albert Heymann. Dia mengerjakan penjilidan buku dengan Camille Martin dan penjilid buku René Wiener.

Pada tahun 1888, ia menemukan Tunisia, yang mempengaruhi cahaya lukisannya. Ia menjadi presiden kedua cole de Nancy pada saat kematian mile Gallé, pada tahun 1904. Dari tahun 1919 hingga 1940, ia memimpin School of Fine Arts of Nancy.

Dia adalah ayah dari arsitek dan desainer Jean Prouvé (1901–1984).
