Pembagian administratif New York adalah berbagai satuan pemerintahan yang menyediakan layanan pemerintahan daerah di negara bagian New York. Negara bagian ini memiliki empat korporasi munisipal serbaguna yang menyediakan sebagian besar layanan pemerinthan daerah, yaitu county, city, town, dan village. New York juga memiliki berbagai entitas korporat yang melayani keperluan tunggal yang juga dimiliki pemerintah daerah, seperti distrik sekolah dan distrik pemadam kebakaran.[1] Penetapan munisipalitas sebagai sebuah kota besar, kota kecil, atau desa tidak bergantung pada populasi atau luasnya, namun pada bentuk pemerintahan yang dipilih oleh penduduk dan disetujui oleh badan legislatif negara bagian.[2][3][4] Masing-masing pemerintahan seperti itu diberikan kekuasaan peraturan setempat sesuai yang tercantum dalam Konstitusi New York.[1]
New York memiliki 62 county,[5][6] yang kemudian dibagi lagi menjadi 932 kota kecil (town)[4] dan 62 kota besar (city);[3] negara bagian ini juga memiliki 10 penampungan Indian.[7] Secara keseluruhan, negara bagian ini memiliki lebih dari 4.200 pemerintahan daerah.[8]
