Ian Paisley

Ian Richard Kyle Paisley, Baron Bannside PC (6 April 1926 – 12 September 2014), adalah seorang politikus loyalis dan pemimpin agama Protestan dari Irlandia Utara. Ia menjadi pendeta Protestan injili pada 1946 dan masih menjabat selama masa sisa hidupnya. Pada 1951, ia menjadi salah satu pendiri Gereja Presbiterian Bebas Ulster fundamentalis dan menjadi pemimpinnya sampai 2008. Paisley dikenal karena kotbahnya yang membara dan giat berceramah dan menentang Katolik Roma, ekumenisme dan homoseksualitas. Ia meraih pengikut yang banyak yang disebut sebagai Paisleyites.
