Polisida
Polisida adalah sebuah neologisme yang dipakai dalam ilmu politik untuk meyebut penghancuran intensional terhadap sebuah entitas politik dan sosial independen, seperti kota atau negara.[1] Istilah tersebut dipakai dengan beberapa regularitas dalam ilmu politik, umumnya merujuk kepada kebijakan penghancuran yang menimbulkan genosida atau etnosida.
Cikal bakal[sunting | sunting sumber]
Penulis Michael Walzer mencetuskan cikal bakal istilah "polisida" (dalam artian "penghancuran kemerdekaan negara") kepada Abba Eban, Menteri Urusan Luar Negeri Israel pada 1967.[2]
