Keuskupan Agung Newark
Keuskupan Agung Newark adalah sebuah keuskupan agung Gereja Katolik di timur laut New Jersey, Amerika Serikat. Kawasan gerejawinya meliputi seluruh paroki dan sekolah Katolik di county-county New Jersey Bergen, Union, Hudson dan Essex (dimana kota Newark berada).[1]
Sejarah[sunting | sunting sumber]
- Didirikan sebagai Keuskupan Newark pada tanggal 29 Juli 1853, memisahkan diri dari Keuskupan Agung New York dan Keuskupan Philadelphia
- Ditingkatkan menjadi Keuskupan Agung Newark pada tanggal 10 Desember 1937
