Twa Danau Besar, atau juga dikenal sebagai Abatwa atau Ge-Sera, atau dalam bahasa Inggris Batwa, adalah Pygmy yang umumnya dianggap sebagai penduduk tertua di wilayah Danau Besar Afrika Tengah. Mereka dapat ditemui di Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, dan provinsi timur Republik Demokratik Kongo. Pada tahun 2000, jumlah mereka tercatat sebesar 80.000 jiwa, sehingga merupakan kelompok minoritas di negara-negara tersebut.[2]
Walaupun ada sejumlah Twa lain di hutan Kongo, dan juga Twa selatan di Angola, Namibia, Zambia, dan Botswana yang tinggal di rawa-rawa dan gurun yang tak ada hutan, dalam bahasa Inggris, selain dalam literatur antropologi, istilah "Twa" biasanya merujuk ke Twa Danau Besar.
